CNSC collaborate with Agape Community Center (ACC), and Visitacion Valley Community Center (VVCC) In collaboration with the Agape Community Center, and Visitacion Valley Community Center. CNSC is expanding our services to the Visitacion Valley, Sunset Districts, and Richmond District of San Francisco. The expansion is made possible from a grant awarded by the Mayor's Office of Community Development. Over 800 new immigrants and low-income residents will receive free services during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. The program is administer and collaborates with Agape Community Center, and Visitacion Valley Community Center. Our goal is to help clients become economically self-sufficient. The program includes educational services for youth and adults, job placement, job retention, case management , information and referral, Telecommunication Consumer Protection and Education, Low-Income Tax Clinic, Forms Filling etc. CNSC will provide bilingual information and referral services to low-income residents and hold job preparation and computer workshops. Topics covered will include the U.S. labor market and working environment, job search methods, resume writing and filling out job applications and an explanation of taxes and payroll deductions. CNSC's outreach service in the Visitacion Valley, the Sunset District, and the Richmond District is to provide our services to the residents who live in these three district and can save them from traveling to our main office. The location of our outreach services are as follows: - Visitacion Valley District Outreach site: Richmond District and Sunset District Outreach site: In addition, CNSC will arrange monthly workshops with guest speakers who are experts in fields such as heath insurance, job training, worker's rights, compensation, unemployment, immigration, housing discrimination, victim and witness assistance and rights of the disabled.
