Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

VITA Provides Faster and Better Tax Service with E-Filing

This year, the VITA Program helps provide electronic filing of your income tax returns. CNSC will offer this service from February 11 through April 8 on a first-come, first-served basis. To get this free tax assistance, you must register with the CNSC by calling 415-421-2111. Please register early so you can see our tax experts.

Our VITA program helps over 1000 participants each year file income tax returns. The program has endured for over 28th years since CNSC started it in 1973. Many thanks to our two founding volunteers, Mr. Gilbert Quong and Mr. Wing Hong, for their dedicated work in helping low-income Asian workers and families with their income tax problems.
