Citizenship & Naturalization One-Stop Service

CNSC is glad to announce that State Department of Community & Development granted our center, in collaboration with three other Latino & Vietnamese community-based organizations, funding to provide the “Citizenship & Naturalization Service Plan” in San Francisco. The goal is to provide interested residents the related information, and to assist eligible residents in filling out the N-400, Application for Citizenship & Naturalization. In addition, CNSC provide our time-to-time Citizenship Class to educate students in preparing for their Naturalization test. Currently, the waiting period for the naturalization interview takes around 3-4 months, so we encourage applicants to study the interview questions and attend citizenship classes as soon as possible, especially those with limited-English capacity.

Lastly, CNSC would like to inform everyone that the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) will be increasing the citizenship application fee on July 30, 2007. Fees will increase from the current $330 to $595, and plus the $80 biometrics fee will be a total of $675. If you are already qualified for citizenship, our center encourages you to take do so before the application fee increase.
