A Message from CNSC Executive Director Julia Ling

As the new Executive Director, I am both very proud and humble with the success and legacy of the Chinese Newcomers Service Center, in serving countless of thousands of immigrants over the last 32 years. Having relocated recently from Hong Kong myself, and thus beginning my second career here in the U S, I know intimately the many challenges faced by our constituencies, in coping with the numerous daily demands adjusting to the new environment here. Again, I am also humble with the generosity of our supporters/donors and the dedication and industry of our staff/volunteers, as they continue to work tirelessly with their labor of love.

As we are faced with the uncertainty of the economy and the repercussion of the September 11th event, I am hereby calling all of our friends at CNSC to reinforce our mission focus, which is to serve and to help. Rallying around our six dedicated candidates, who have all given so much of their time, effort, and resources. Let's join in hands in making this year fundraising event a successful one and also our mission to focus of our soul. In closing, I am looking forward to the future, knowing that TOGETHER we can make a difference. Again thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
