04-05-2003: The VITA and TCE program completed

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counceling for the Elderly (TCE) program has been completed on 4/5/2003. This free service was started from February 8, 2003 and ran consecutively for 9 weeks. We have been providing the VITA program consecutively for 29 years.

This year, we help over 800 low income family (including elderly) to prepare their tax return and help them to claim the tax refund to a total amount of $616,417.

Chinese Newcomers Service Center would like to thank all the Volunteers who participated the VITA & TCE program and contributed their time to help the low income family and the elderly. We look forward to serve more people next year.
