New Outreach Location in the Sunset District Opening Ceremony

Newcomers Service Center has an outreach service location in the Sunset
District of San Francisco. In order to provide more convenience to the
residents of the Sunset District, our outreach service will be moved to
a new location with effective from July29, 2003. Details as follows:

Newcomers Service Center would like to thank you Tzu Chi Foundation, SF
for providing us space to conduct our outreach service in their property.
We also would like to thank San Francisco Neighborhood Resource Center
for collaborated with us for our outreach service in the Sunset District
for the past 2 years.

Outreach Service Location in the Sunset District Press Conference and
Reception

Newcomers Service Center's new outreach service location in the
San Francisco Sunset district will be relocated in Tzu Chi Foundation,
SF at 2901 Irving Street. (at 30th Ave), San Francisco, CA 94122.
A Press Conference and Reception was held on 7/22/2003. We're honored
to have many guest, representatives from different Community Service
Organizations, and the Officer from the San Francisco City Government
to attend this event. Reporters from the major Chinese Media, including
radio and Newspaper were also attended. The collaboration of the
two organization and the services of this Outreach Service were
introduced by Ms Julia Ling - Executive Director of CNSC and Ms.
Shirley Leong of Tzu Chi Foundation, SF.
This new Outreach Service Location will start serving the Residents
of the San Francisco Sunset District from 7/29/2003, every Tuesday
from 10 am to 3 pm. For those who need our services, especially
the elderly, could come to this Outreach location instead of traveling
to our main Center located in Chinatown. |
