Events 2003 Chinese Moon Festival Rice Distribution has been held on September 9, 2003. This year, with the support and sponsor from Mr. Eddie Tsang, and the assistance from 16 different Community Base Organizations, Chinese Newcomers Service Center had distributed 3,000 bags of rice to the low income families and elderly. In order to conduct the distribution event smoothly and avoid causing any inconvenience to the elderly and disabled people. CNSC had arranged to distribute the rice in 3 different locations:- Dr. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall in San Francisco China Town, Asian Pacific American Community Center and Visitacion Valley Community Center in San Francisco Visitacion Valley District. The rice was distributed in good order and the people line-up in order and they didn’t need to wait long to get a 10 lbs bag of rice from our Guest and left with a smiley face. The rice they got might not give them big help, but the warm they felt from the motive of this Rice Distribution definitely tell them that they're not forgotten. We take this opportunity to salute Mr. Eddie Tsang for his great support and sponsor and to thank you all the Community Base Organization who participate to this events. We look forward to work together in the near future. Photo Gallery of 2003 Chinese Moon Festival Rice Distribution2003 Chinese Moon Festival Rice Distribution History
