| Ms.
Grace Chen
Grace Chen is a certified financial planner, specializing in business and individual tax planning, estate planning, and charitable giving. Over the past 16 years, she has received many outstanding achievement awards for her work. She volunteers on a regular basis to offer free educational seminars to the Chinese and Asian communities. Grace is very dedicated to making sure that these communities fully understand tax advantages and tax rewards. In addition to a successful business, Grace is also very active in community service. She was the President of the Asian Chamber of Commerce in 1997. In 1998 and 1999, she was President of the Rotary Club and formed a group to care for children with special needs. She also is part of an Asian cancer support group for the American Cancer Society. Grace is involved with Houston Hospice to make sure that the needs of the Asian community are served, and that there are an adequate number of professionally-trained Asian volunteers. |

Grace Liang
Grace Liang has over 16 years of experience in Financial Services. She is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and NAIFA. She specializes in personal and business insurance, executive and group benefits, and stocks and mutual funds. She is currently licensed with the State of California and the New York Department of Insurance. Grace has her General Securities Representative License. She also serves as an advisor to business owners and professionals with regard to retirement planning and estate planning strategies. Grace is friends with many former CNSC Emperors and Empresses and they inspired her to volunteer as one of our 2004 Charity Ball Empress candidates. Most importantly, Grace feels that CNSC's services are so valuable and vital to immigrant families that she wants to help raise as many funds as possible. She resides in San Francisco and enjoys travel and skiing in her spare time. |

Karen Yu
Karen Yu is the Sales and Marketing Manager at Wells Fargo's Phone Bank Division. Under her leadership, the phone service centers environment has grown into a thriving, nearly full sales/service channel that has exceeded double digit growth for the past 5 years. Karen's many successes began early in life. As the eldest of three children, she quickly gravitated toward academic success. As a precocious child, she worked diligently toward her goal of graduating from Harvard University, one of the most highly acclaimed universities in the world. She graduated with honors (cum laude) in 1989. After gaining valuable work experience at Deloitte and Touche where she specialized in economic and market analysis, Karen set her sights on the prestigious Wharton School of Business. She graduated with a focus in Marketing and Finance and went to work for American Express where she was soon promoted to Head of Regional Lending – Asia, Pacific and Australia region. Based in Hong Kong, she pioneered customer loyalty programs. Longing to return to US, she left American Express to join the team at Wells Fargo.
Karen is a single young woman who enjoys travel, cooking, reading and the good life. Her travels have led to exciting adventures in Costa Rica, Nepal, and New Zealand When she's at home, she enjoys playing mah jong with her grandmother. |

| Mr. Charles Chan
Charles Chan is the Project Architect for Kotas/Pantaleoni Architects. He is originally from Hong Kong and worked his way through college in California. He received his architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obisbo. In his work at Kotas/Pataleoni Architects, Charles works on both residential and commercial projects. He has been successful in bringing in new projects to the firm. Charles is very knowledgeable about Chinese Newcomers Service Center. In 1992, he worked part time at the Center and was successful in visiting 160 new immigrant families to make sure they were adjusting to life in the United States. In 1994, CNSC was fortunate to have Charles return as a very dedicated volunteer. He helped with the Center's annual food distribution program, the fundraising telethon and radiothon, and the Emperor and Empress Charity Ball for four years. Charles agreed to serve as a 2004 Emperor Candidate because he wanted to give back to the community and to CNSC. Charles is an eligible bachelor who lives in San Francisco. |

| Mr.
Kui Lee
Kui Lee was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to San Francisco in 1973. He graduated from Golden Gate University with a major in accounting and taxation. After obtaining his CPA, Kui began his career in the accounting industry. This is Kui's first involvement in a fundraiser. He wanted to help Chinese Newcomers Service Center because he remembers how difficult it was to adapt to a completely new culture and environment when he came to San Francisco 31 years ago. Kui is very supportive of CNSC and recognizes all of the help that the Center provides to new immigrants. In his spare time, Kui enjoys reading, baseball, and horse racing. He is one of Barry Bonds' biggest fans. Kui is married and has one son and three daughters. |

| Mr. Timothy Lee
In addition to being a very active and concerned businessman in San Francisco's Chinatown, Timothy Lee is also very committed to making sure that the Asian community is informed about government decisions. Tim is the General Manager and owner of the Golden Dragon Restaurant in San Francisco. He is also the Director of Asian Community Affairs for Congressman Tom Lantos (District 12) San Mateo. In that capacity, he outreaches to the Asian community of San Francisco and San Mateo, plans meeting and forums, and helps form local and national policies for Asian Pacific Americans. He uses his knowledge and background in international trade to form liaisons between the governments of the United States, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Locally, Tim is very involved in civic groups such as A Better Chinatown for Tomorrow, the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Lion's Club. Tim and his wife reside in San Francisco. His interests are travel, music, and Kung Fu. |
